Colonisation is as much a pack surrounding Minecolonies as it's a kitchen sink pack. While the focus lies on building nations and trading with other nations to grow stronger; there is no real end goal or anything forcing you to use specific mods to progress.

Create and Immersive Engineering allow for great automisation, with Simple Storage Network connecting them and storing valuables.

Farmer's Delight and Crock Pot, among other mods, allow for lots of different food types to be crafted and eaten, yummy.

Small Ships and Astikor Carts let you transport large amounts of goodies over vast distances - teleporting is not supposed to be a thing in this pack. Get a flute from Dude Where's My Horse? if you want to travel by horse and not risk losing it along the way.

Explore to your heart's content with When Dungeons Arise, Valhelsia Structures, BetterEnd, and of course The Abyss Chapter II. Biomes o Plenty creates a beautiful world that doesn't feel too out of place in vanilla mc, and Simply Improved Terrain improves on vanilla's default world gen.
