Update from client v1.4 · 23 October 2026
Added
- Supplementaries 1.21.1-3.8.9 — functional decorations and building details, including jars, signs, lights and ropes.
- Macaw’s Windows 2.4.2 — more window styles, shutters and window decorations.
- Macaw’s Roofs 2.3.2 — roof pieces and details for more varied buildings.
- FramedBlocks 10.6.3 — building shapes that can take the appearance of other blocks.
- Chipped 4.0.2 — decorative block variants and workbenches for customising building materials.
- Fish N’ Ships 1.1.0 — canoes, sailboats, rafts and larger fuel-powered ships with onboard storage and upgrades such as a trawling net and icebreaker.
Required libraries
- Added Moonlight Lib 1.21.1-3.7.2, Athena 4.0.6, GeckoLib 4.9.3 and Hybrid API 1.1.3.
- Reused the existing Kotlin for Forge and Resourceful Lib installations.
- Athena is required on clients; it is omitted from the GPORTAL addon.
Compatibility and packaging
- Pinned Supplementaries to 3.8.9, whose loader requirements work with the pack’s NeoForge 21.1.246. The newer Supplementaries builds checked during preparation require NeoForge 21.1.247.
- The client now references 100 mod JARs and 5 shader packs through the CurseForge manifest. No mod JARs are embedded in the client ZIP.
- Retained all 90 previous mod versions and all five shader references. Existing configuration files and the 303 compatibility datapack resources are byte-identical to v1.4.
- Provided a separate GPORTAL addon with nine new server-side JARs and the three matching FTB JARs from v1.4. It supplements the existing server installation.
- The GPORTAL addon supplies mods only. It does not replace existing world data, ME shop restrictions, server configuration or voice-chat port settings.
Validation
- Downloaded and checked the ZIP integrity of all 100 client mod JARs. Previously recorded SHA-256 hashes matched for all 90 unchanged JARs.
- Booted Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.246 and 76 production common-side JARs in an isolated dedicated-server test world.
- Passed 21 native runtime checks: new common mod versions; ten representative crafting recipes; Chipped’s stone-variant lookup; placement of five representative decorative blocks, including block-entity NBT roundtrips where applicable; ship fuel, cargo, upgrade flags, NBT persistence and 50 manual entity ticks; canoe passenger boarding and NBT; personal home commands and disk persistence; and FTB party-team creation.
- The ship accepted coal and retained its cargo and upgrade flags after an NBT roundtrip. Chipped returned 63 available stone variants in the loaded test data.
- The server saved the test world and exited with code 0. The private test harness and test world are excluded from both downloads.
- Graphical client rendering, shader compatibility, FPS, actual multiplayer steering/fishing and the live GPORTAL installation were not tested here. This is not a performance benchmark or an end-to-end client/server test.
Known issue
- CoasterCart 1.0.2 can still crash Create’s Ponder previews in its camera hook. This existing issue is not fixed by v1.5. Avoid those previews until a separate fix is available.
- Moonlight logs a Fabric API compatibility warning because the existing TxniLib bundles Forgified Fabric API. The common-side runtime checks passed with that combination; graphical client compatibility remains unverified.
- Startup logs still contain warnings from existing mods and optional integrations; passing these tests does not mean every log entry is clean.
