Regions Unexplored:
- Added two new biomes: Tundra and Wisteria Grove.
- Applied a major biome overhaul with renamed, merged, and reworked environments.
- Improved biome generation, vegetation density, ambiance, particles, and sounds.
- Added the new Ashen mob and the decorative Iridescent Ring.
- Vanilla biomes now feature additional vegetation and environmental details.
- World generation has been rewritten for smoother biome transitions and better vanilla integration.
- Updated the Bug, Electric, and Fire Gym Arena schematics to their new v2 layouts.
- Existing Bug, Electric, and Fire arena slots will now refresh automatically to the newest layouts instead of keeping older generated versions.
- Replaced the reward for the "The Beginning of Your Journey" quest.
- Added a fallback quest inside the Welcome Guide tab to help players switch correctly to the new trainer progression series on older worlds if needed.
🛠 Fixes
- Fixed bugged skin backgrounds.
- Fixed incorrect Fire and Electric arenas in-game.
- Adjusted Realms World gamemode enforcement so OP players and singleplayer users with command access can keep their selected gamemode while remaining in the same dimension.
- Fixed an issue where players leaving Realms World through the void could sometimes appear inside caves in the Overworld.

🧭 Cobblemon Realms – Version 5.9
Version 5.9 introduces the Gym World Tour progression, a full arena system, major spawn and loot improvements, new custom gameplay systems, performance fixes, and many Pokémon updates across the modpack.
🚀 Major Modpack Changes
- Added the Gym World Tour trainer progression through RCT.
- Added a full Gym Arena system with dedicated arena types.
- Improved starter guidance, now directing players more clearly to Professor Oak / Professor Chen.
- Improved Spawn Guide dialogue to help players reach key locations faster.
- The spawn island will regenerate the first time you join your world in version 5.9.
- Music Interface: added Loop Off, Loop Playlist, Loop Current Track, Up Next preview, instant album playback, instant author playback, and improved collection listening flow.
- Crystal Onix and Crystal Steelix are now Crystal type. Crystal Onix also received a unique evolution method, stats, moves, and abilities.
- Added more than 170 new and reworked Cobblemon animations, including sleep, idle, and attack animations.
- Added Fletcher job, allowing arrows to be coated with poison.
- Added Rain Dancer job, allowing rainy weather control.
- Lucky Egg now boosts received Player XP by a configurable amount, enabled by default at 50%.
- Optimized many backgrounds.
- Reworked loot tables with Tera Shards, Poké Ball weight balancing, more EXP Candies, healing items, missing Poké Balls, Ancient Poké Ball entries, and utility item adjustments.
- Sculk Shriekers can now be replaced with Cobblemon Trial Spawners.
- Cobblemon Trials are now aggressive.
- Cobblemon information in JEI received a major visual rework for better clarity.
- Hundreds of previously empty chests and barrels across structures now contain loot.
🧩 Minor Modpack Changes
- Reworked the welcome message to be shorter, clearer, and easier to follow.
- Updated the starter locked message to explain that players must speak to Professor Oak / Professor Chen first.
- Improved spawn island onboarding flow.
- Added model reworks for Mew, Mega Charizard X and Y, Mega Salamence, Zygarde 50%, Ogerpon, Phione, Manaphy, Raikou, Suicune, Magearna, Pheromosa, Victini, and Mewtwo's Fetus.
- Flutter Mane, Raikou, and Suicune are now rideable.
- Adjusted multiple Realms Island Shop prices for better economy balance.
- Reworked legacy Realms Store messaging to better reflect the transition toward Spawn NPC shops.
- Increased Realms Store prices by roughly 25% to 50%.
- Removed the old Realms Money conversion system from the Realms Store.
- Death inside the Safari, dungeons, or timed dimensions now removes players from the dimension instead of killing them.
- Updated the portal visuals for both regular and shader versions.
- Added new Cobblemon assets, including G-Max Copperajah, G-Max Coalossal, G-Max Pikachu, G-Max Blastoise, D-Max clouds, ZA Eelektross, Scovillain, Minior and Greninja ZA animations.
- PokéNav: improved tracking behavior, added tracking buttons to the Location screen, and addressed the PokéFinder overlay freezing issue.
- Rustling Spots: added datapack support for custom spots, removed legendary Pokémon from default pools, added Vietnamese translation, disabled loot reward messages by default, and made mixed Pokémon plus loot spots rarer.
- PokeBike: added light dust particles while riding, added slight leaning when turning, and fixed several issues.
- Cobblemon Smartphone: added PokéNav and Waystone access when the required item is owned.
- Added a save/load team system with 6 renameable team slots.
- Added a base stats panel and removed the IV display.
- Added new structures: Origin Cave, Origin Tomb, Snowpoint Temple, Dragon's Den, and Sprout Tower.

New Spawns
- Tapu Bulu: now spawns in Forest, Island, and Beach biomes with 3 guaranteed perfect IVs, daylight restrictions, and freezing biome exclusions.
- Tapu Fini: now spawns in Ocean, Island, and Beach biomes with 3 guaranteed perfect IVs, daylight restrictions, and freezing biome exclusions.
- Tapu Lele: now spawns in Floral, Island, and Beach biomes with 3 guaranteed perfect IVs, daylight restrictions, and freezing biome exclusions.
Spawn Adjustments
- Volcanion: reworked from River-only spawns into Arid surface and deep underground Overworld encounters with water, lava, and sometimes obsidian requirements.
- Blacephalon: updated with 3 guaranteed perfect IVs, new level ranges, wild preset support, and Nether height restrictions.
- Poipole: now has 3 guaranteed perfect IVs, wild preset support, Forest restrictions, boosted Bee Nest rates, and a new End spawn variant.
- Xurkitree: rebalanced End levels and increased spawn weight.
- Guzzlord: reduced End spawn levels and reduced spawn weight.
- Stakataka: rebalanced Deep Dark and Ancient City encounters with new level ranges and lower weights.
- Nihilego: updated level ranges, reduced weight, wild preset support, and brighter Swamp conditions.
- Buzzwole: Swamp spawns now support the wild preset and End spawn weight was increased.
- Tapu Koko: split into Jungle and Beach/Island spawns with daylight restrictions, freezing biome exclusions, and updated level range.
- Cherubi: now uses natural and treetop presets, with higher daytime Forest spawn weight and excluded Freezing/Spooky biomes.
- Cherrim: is now Common, with Forest-only logic, rain-based Overcast form, daytime Sunshine form, and Freezing/Spooky exclusions.
- Lost Lore MT: expanded level range and heavily reduced base spawn weight.
- Lost Lore MT2: expanded level range, heavily reduced base spawn weight, and kept 5 guaranteed perfect IVs.

- PokeBike: fixed outer head layers, layered skins, cape clipping, crouch/sneak pose issues, and third-person rendering while mounted.
- Leaderboards: fixed orphaned displays, removed board persistence issues, prevented deleted preset boards from recreating, reduced aggressive refresh behavior, avoided distant chunk loading, and improved hologram command targeting.
- Fixed Sandaconda, Steelix, Toxtricity, and Mawile textures.
- Fixed animations for Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Darmanitan, and Calyrex.
