I treated:
Old pack: Cobblemon Dimensions.zip
New pack: Cobblemon Dimensions Stability Baseline v2.zip
From the files, the biggest shift is that the new pack was turned into a stability-focused baseline:
Old pack: 173 listed mods
New pack: 102 installed jar mods
That means v2 is not a tiny patch — it’s a cleanup / rebuild aimed at making the pack more stable, lighter, and easier to troubleshoot.
Changelog for the new pack
Cobblemon Dimensions Stability Baseline v2
Main goal: improve stability, reduce conflicts, and clean up problem content while keeping the core Cobblemon experience.
Fixed
Reduced overall mod count to remove likely conflict sources.
Cleaned out a large amount of extra decorative/worldgen/content bloat that can cause instability.
Removed several visual/customization systems that often create rendering/model/texture issues.
Trimmed back shader/resource-heavy extras to make the pack easier to run and diagnose.
Reworked the pack into a more controlled baseline instead of an everything-added build.
Added dedicated configs for newer systems like Void Block, Filament, Lootr, Polymer, and Dynamax Unleashed.
Kept core Cobblemon-related utility/support mods while cutting a lot of side-content noise.
Changed
Pack focus changed from a broad feature-heavy build to a stability-first baseline.
A lot of nonessential building/decor/world-expansion mods were removed.
Menu/loading/custom GUI extras were stripped back.
Some config folders/assets tied to removed mods were also removed.
New pack is structured more like a full playable instance/baseline rather than only a CurseForge export.
Added / Newly present in v2
These stood out as additions or clearer baseline features in the new pack:
Dynamax Unleashed
Void Block
Filament
Lootr
Polymer
Cobbleit
raid_den_keys
RecallBeams
Cloth Config v15
mega_showdown hotfix
Updated/retained core Cobblemon support like:
Cobblemon
Ultra Beasts
Ultra Wormholes
Wonder Trade
Cobblepedia
Cobblemon Wiki GUI
Radical Cobblemon Trainers
SimpleTMs
Unchained
Wild Battle API
Major removals / cleanup
These are the biggest categories that were cut from the old pack:
Decorative / Macaw-heavy building content removed
A lot of the Macaw’s set was removed, including things like:
Bridges
Paintings
Trapdoors
Doors
Windows
Furniture
Roofs
Fences and Walls
Stairs
Paths and Pavings
Holidays
Lights and Lamps
Worldgen / biome expansion cleanup
Removed:
Biomes O’ Plenty
The Bumblezone
Eternal Starlight
TerraBlender
biome-expansion/spawn-related extras tied to those systems
This is one of the biggest stability changes.
Visual / rendering / shader cleanup
Removed:
Iris Shaders
Complementary Shaders
Fancy Entity Renderer
Continuity
Entity Model Features
Entity Texture Features
Skin Layers 3D
Drippy Loading Screen
This strongly suggests v2 was trying to reduce rendering/model issues and visual conflicts.
Utility / misc cleanup

Auth Me
Configured
Crafting Tweaks
Enchantment Descriptions
Open Loader
Bookshelf
AddonsLib
Crash Assistant
Recipe Essentials

Config-level changes I found

several polymer config files
Removed config sets included:
Biomes O’ Plenty
Bumblezone
Supplementaries
