Cobblemon Academy (Legacy)

1.4.0 update ✨

As with all updates, I recommend backing up/making duplicates of your world saves before updating to ensure that your progress isn't lost due to any unforseen issues! You can also choose to update to a separate modpack profile.

The biggest update the academy has released thus far! More legendaries, looting updates and much more!

Cobblemon Academy will also be seeing its 2.0 update shortly into the new year! Thanks so much for supporting this first season <3

New features and additions:

• Added the October and November '25 Course Challenges - More quests, more outfits, more rewards!
  
  
• Added many new legendaries - The legendary birds and dogs, treasures of ruin legendaries, Solgaleo, Lunala and Terrakion!
  
  
• Key Items now summon legendaries by right-click - You'll still need to find the corresponding biome that the legendary can spawn in, but now it's instant! No more waiting minutes to hours in a sunflower plains for a certain bird like a certain someone...
  
  
• Money Bags can now be deposited into your wallet directly from chests - Your wallet now shows up inside of chests. Pressing shift + left click will deposit all money bags inside of the chest into it
  
  
• Completely overhauled the Safari World spawn pools - Hundreds of new Cobblemon have been added as spawns inside of the Safari World. Old spawns have also been shuffled around. Grab your Pokefinder and take a look! Shoutout DZK312 for the tremendous help with this <3
  
  
• Type effectiveness now shows during battles - This compares the type effectiveness between your Cobblemon and the one you're battling.
  
  
• Added the Exposure: Expanded mod - New lenses, films and filters! The world loading screen has also been updated with exposure photos taken from our season 1 SMP :')
  
  
• Added the DimWorldBorder mod - This mod lets you set world borders per dimension, as a way to prevent "out-of-bounds" world border deaths in the Rad Gyms dimension

Balance changes:

• Added form changing items to gym loot pool and safari meteors
• Added Iron Valiant to Starlight Dense Forest safari spawn pool
• Added recipe for Pasture Block - This still requires one Gold Coin
• Added Ball Synchronizer to the Shop
• Buffed the likeliness of being called by the void...
• All quest chapters now grant one Legendary Lootbag upon completion
• Defeating the Headmaster of the Academy for the first time now grants one Legendary Lootbag
• Corrected spawn weights of some mythical Cobblemon
• Moved Volcanion from all nether biomes to Crimson Forest
• Cobblemon now no longer take damage in the Safari World
• Adjusted spawn pool bucketse for Tinkaton line and Ghimmighoul
• Meteoric Chunks now emit smoke particles - This increases the visibility of landed meteors tremendously which should make spotting hard-to-find ones much easier. Since only the meteoric chunks emit smoke, this can serve as an indicator of whether or not a meteor has been completely excavated for loot

Bug fixes:

• Enhanced Celestial moons now work during rain/thunder
• Summoned legendaries no longer despawn - There is currently a bug where unloading the chunk its in will print a message in chat saying that it has despawned. This is incorrect and the Cobblemon will still be there
• Removed item requirement for evolving Bisharp into Kingambit - This fixes bisharp's battle crashes
• Type: Null will now spawn using its Key Item
• Fixed Shiny Gastly Plushie quest - Now correctly says Dark Swamp instead of Scarlet Forest
• Removed The Abyss biome from being searchable using Nature's Compass
• Key Items and additional items now both get consumed upon spawning a legendary
• Catching a low level Cobblemon will no longer display a quest completion
• Relogging/restarting now no longer affects shiny boost values
• Water Bottles now fill without the need for a cauldron
• Newly-purchased Wrench and Grass Starters from the Shop now work as intended
• Void Bundle has been removed from the Shop
• Fixed Urshifu and Enamorus models

Config changes:

• Reduced Ping Wheel volume and distance
• Obliterated Wraith Waystones - This mod is only meant to be used as a dependancy for the Numismatic Waystones mod, which adds the chest deposit into wallet feature
• Obliterated Mega Showdown's Scroll of Water/Darkness
• Added a "summons" Cobblemon spawn bucket - This is only for legendary summoning and otherwise should be ignored <3
