Description

This is a Fabric modpack but is able to function on the curseforge launcher due to the usage of Jumploader.

 

This modpack includes various mods that work well together to modernize and put a twist on the regular vanilla experience. Here you won't find excessive machinery, an abundance of rituals, or any other kind of similar stuff, but rather little small additions that make the game just different enough to feel fresh again.

 

The core element of this modpack revolves around the Origins mod and its addons. When you start up a world or join a server, you will be asked to pick an origin which you can think of like a race in your typical RPG game, each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses that will be explained in detail in-game. In addition to the origin you choose, you will also need to choose a class which you can compare to classes in your typical RPG game, and the all the different classes make you better at a certain specific element of the game. This all means you could play through multiple Minecraft experiences on this one modpack but still have an unique experience each time as different origin and class combinations offer different ways to play from some origins only being able to breathe in water, to some straight up spawning in the nether when they start up. Due to the customisable nature of your playthrough this modpack is great for server gameplay as people who made different choices at the start can all play together no matter what they chose.

 

Also, you can find all your vanilla ores and more in the nether if you are worried about an impossible start with some of these origins, and if you feel brave enough you'll find the nether and end islands don't quite look the same anymore. However, not all exploration incentives can be found outside the overworld because if you spend enough time in your playthrough (by default 28 in-game days), you'll notice that the overworld will change around you as it goes through the seasons.

 

Experience spring, summer, autumn and winter in your world so that even the same biomes you've been to countless times before don't get dull quickly.
