Client for Beginners

A collection of client-side performance and QoL improvements, without breaking the Vanilla experience.

Description

Whilst this modpack has been tested and confirmed to work with Vanilla servers, it will work best alonside my Server for Beginners server-side modpack.

 

This modpack compiles a selection of client-side mods to improve the player experience, especially for new players. JourneyMap is included for navigation, JEI for exploring the available blocks, along with a variety of performance improvement mods and HUD/chat improvements. The Faithless resource pack gives everything a cleaner feel.

 

Whilst this pack uses the Fabric loader, it does not alter any mechanics, add new blocks, or change spawn rules. It has been tested and confirmed to work with 1.20.1 multiplayer servers.

 

Installation

 

The easiest way to install this modpack is through the CurseForge Launcher. You will need to have Minecraft pre-bought and installed. Then either search Client for Beginners in the Browse Modpacks section of the launcher, or go to the Files section of this page and click the Install button next to the latest release.
