NoFilter Network — Cisco’s Dragonfyre NFN Edition Update

This update focuses on server polish, reward improvements, Tebex/vote integration, balance changes, world expansion prep, and backend systems for future server growth.

Update Description

The NoFilter Network team has been hard at work improving the Cisco’s Dragonfyre NFN Edition server. This update includes cleaner server systems, better announcements, improved loot bag visibility, voting and Tebex improvements, balance changes, and preparation for future world expansion.

These changes are meant to make the server feel more polished, easier to use, and healthier for long-term gameplay.

Server Systems

• Created and prepared a separate Testing Server instance for safer updates.
• Future changes can now be tested before going live.
• Reworked the server tab list for a cleaner and more professional look.
• Improved rank and player name formatting in the tab list.
• Added or reviewed a compatible /chest or /echest style storage command mod.
• Continued setup for rank-based storage perks through Tebex.

Tebex / Store Updates

• Continued Tebex shop setup and package testing.
• Improved rank delivery setup through Tebex.
• Added support for Tebex rank purchase announcements in chat.
• Tebex purchases can now be announced publicly when players buy a rank.
• Continued work on making Tebex rewards match the Tebex Shop Google Doc.

XP Booster Items

• Added planning/setup for custom XP Booster items.
• Added a Personal XP Booster concept for 2x XP for one player.
• Added a Global XP Booster concept for 2x XP for the entire server.
• XP Boosters are being prepared for use through Tebex, events, or future rewards.

Voting Updates

• Updated vote announcement system.
• Players who vote can now be announced in chat.
• Continued work on making voting feel more rewarding and visible to the community.

Loot Bag Updates

• Added chat announcements for custom loot bags.
• Custom loot bags can now announce what a player receives.
• Added work toward showing item chances when hovering over loot bag rewards.
• Loot bag chances will be based on the Google Doc or the item/config itself.
• Improved reward visibility so players better understand what they can receive.

Balance Changes

Godforged / Reforged Gear Farming

• Reviewed Warden and Wither spawner farming.
• Reduced or prepared reductions for Godforged/Reforged gear farming.
• Addressed spawned or AI-disabled mobs dropping powerful end-game gear.
• Goal is to stop end-game gear from flooding the server economy.

Champion Loot Bags

• Increased the intended minimum mob level for Champion Loot Bag drops.
• Target changed from around level 500+ to level 800+.
• This helps keep Champion Loot Bags more valuable and harder to farm.

Perfect Gems

• Increased the intended minimum mob level for Perfect Gem drops.
• Target changed from around level 500+ to level 800+.
• Drop rates may be reduced further if Perfect Gems are still too common.

Ars Nouveau Dyrgmy Farms

• Added or planned a limit of 6 Dyrgmys per player.
• This is meant to reduce excessive loot farming and server lag.

Damage / Critical Damage Scaling

• Reviewed high-end damage scaling.
• Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and Attack Damage are being adjusted.
• Goal is to reduce one-shot boss builds and keep end-game fights meaningful.

World Border Expansion

• Began preparation to expand the world border in:
  • Overworld
  • Nether
  • End
• New chunks are planned to be preloaded before the border is expanded.
• This should help reduce lag when players explore newly opened areas.
• Backups and testing are required before the expansion goes live.

This update is part of our ongoing effort to clean up the server, improve stability, balance progression, and make NoFilter Network feel more polished long term.
