Chaotic Modpack: Ascension v1.2 Changelog

Overview

Version 1.2 focuses on compatibility fixes, quality-of-life improvements, menu polish, and gameplay balance adjustments based on player feedback.

Removed Mods

Ice and Fire: Dragons

Removed Ice and Fire: Dragons and any mods dependent on it.

This change was made due to compatibility issues that prevented some players with certain AMD graphics cards from being able to launch or play the pack properly.

Simple Hats

Removed Simple Hats.

Due to incompatibility with EpicFight’s model changes, hats were not displaying correctly and were no longer providing meaningful functionality within the pack.

Added Mods

Controlling

Added Controlling to improve keybind management.

Players can now more easily:

• Search keybinds

• Find overlapping controls

• Manage the large number of keybinds included in the pack

Twemoji

Added Twemoji for improved chat emoji support.

Changed

Cosmetic Armor Compatibility

Updated Cosmetic Armor configuration to work more efficiently with EpicFight.

This should improve compatibility between cosmetic armor visuals and EpicFight’s custom player models/animations.

FancyMenu Overhaul

Fully overhauled the FancyMenu setup based on player feedback.

The menu has been adjusted to be cleaner, more polished, and easier to use.

Reminder

Players can press R by default to switch between EpicFight combat mode and more vanilla-style controls/models.
