TL;DR:New Feature:Covenants!
With this update comes 13 Groups ("Covenants") which all have their allies and nemesises!And to give a soul to these group they all have their own head-quarters where you can take allience or leave them if you desire.This means 13 new structures to be found in your world.Every covenant will have an invitation and a description book which will some personality to them and describes said group's effectsPlus every covenant has it's own trader which can trade various items.These traders only sell items to you if you are part of their group.Every group can be leveled by using a new item called "Covenant Coin".You'll be able to trade for these coins and most vanilla mobs are able to drop these coins(See below which are able to drop exactly).By right clicking with this item you'll rank up your currently active group to gain stronger benefits.You can level them up to 2 more times after joining them.

Old Crusaders:                    Heal back 75% of what you've taken as damage after 3 sec

Magical Weapon Smiths:    Get a Copy of your item in your off-hand for 3 ticks and deal slightly increased damage.

Lightbound:                         Regen based on depth,Blindness below y20,Night Vision at night

Demolitic Archers                Explosion on arrow hit (Self damage Included)

Forest Archers                     Significantly more arrow damage,guaranteed crits with bows

End Walkers                        No ender pearl damage,no fall damage

New Thugs                          Gives an innate 100% crit chance and slightly higher Crit damage

Lavish Lads                         Higher Crit damage

Volatile Warrios                   35% chance to kill an enemy instantly and cause an explosion plus gain a sudden burst of healing after that explosion (Self damage Included)

Sons of The Thundergod    Lightning has a chance to strike the enemy that you've attacked

Tunneling Moles                  Night vision while the light level is below 3
