Description
A 1.8 modpack of some mods that I like. A smaller pack for friends to enjoy, without overloading players with "Too Many Options".
With this pack I'm attempting to create a light experience that still feels close to the original concept of minecraft (i.e. vanilla-like) that yet offers a great deal of automation for the power user.
For this purpose I've included some larger mods like Progressive Automation and NeoTech (for the tech side), and some smaller mods like Vanilla-Inspired Teleporters and my own Spawnercraft. After that are the usual mods -- NEI and WAILA -- and StorageDrawers as my preferred mass storage solution. Then, a few more for flavor, and a couple by request of friends.
While I nail down the mod list (i.e. before version 1), this pack should be considered unstable as I will be changing the mod list to try to nail what feels just right. Once I release version 1, the mod list won't change but I will do everything within my power to keep the pack updated.
NOTE: My manifest versioning messed up and both release v0.1 (first) and v0.3 (second, to possibly become v1.0) were marked as 1.0 in the manifest. Hopefully this won't cause too big of a problem because Curse should look at the most recent uploaded file as well as the version marker in the manifest.
