A Performance-Friendly Magic&Tech Modpack

The second installment modpack for the server is here. First we had Bullcraft Foundations, And now we have Bullcraft Shards with more magic mods!

Bullcraft was Founded by DeadMeerkat Early October of this year and has since grown in player count.The server is being ran as a 'Hermitcraft' Mock so that players are all friendly with eachother with many working together and ofcourse helping other players who don't know about a mod to learn more. Since the first modpack, I've learnt that many players would like more magic than a primarily tech-based modpack and so I've done so.

 

Staffing the server in terms of rules and repercussions is done in a majoritivly reputation based system, if you're caught cheating, it's most likely you'll be let off with a warning unless you've had a warning before. I've not disabled any items that you can dupe with, however that's not to say that duping is encouraged, and will be dealt with as explained with cheating. Ofcourse accidental duping/crashing of the server otherwise fine aslong as you report how it happened, same with any (most) other servers.

 

Community Focused

In Bullcraft, this modpack was built for server use, though single player use is still ofcourse available. The modpack has it's own currency and shops to allow players to setup their own shop to sell/buy things from other players, all without having to install sponge to your server and having to mess with that can of worms.

 

Immersive behaviour 

Realistic terrain features including rivers, mountains, snow, tall trees, dead biomes, swamps, origin biomes and plenty more. With ambient noises you're sure to feel like you're actually there standing in the jungle or that swamp. With a plethora of custom structures including dungeons, dragon nests, caves, and ravines, you're sure to not run out of things to explore.

 

'Lite' Ram usage optimized

I've cut out many of the mods that players would be suprised to not have, however this was done purely to keep ram usage very low even while generating chunks. I've also tried to cut out as many overlapping mods as possible, you're not going to have much choice of what mod you'd like to use to automate that one Harvestcraft meal.

 

What mods can you expect?

Most notable mods you'll see in this pack would include Thaumcraft, Refined Storage, Mekanism, Astral Sorcery, Psi, Avaritia, Botania, Ice and Fire, RTG with BoP, EnderIO, and a bunch more that you'll have to take a look for yourself.

However there aren't some mods that you would typically expect to see in other modpacks, while our custom modpack doesn't have Applied Energistics 2, Thermal Suite, Draconic Evolution, Decocraft, and maybe more.
