Description
Adventure Awaits!
This modpack is a complete overhaul of AsianHalfSquat's Shattered Ring modpack. It takes the original modpack, pulls out many mods, and adds many mods.

The Concept:
Sally forth on an epic RPG adventure, seeking out precious loot and challenging bossfights! The idea behind this pack is to be able to wander around a visually beautiful world, looking for bosses, dungeons, and loot.

The World:
This modpack uses DistantHorizons plus compatable shaders to enhance exploration. AsianHalfSquat wanted to capture that open world feeling where you see something in the distance and marvel as it gets closer. I expanded upon that and also paired it with Terralith and Tectonic's world generation. I have also added the Aether and the Twilight Forest. Finally, The original pack uses a way point teleportation system called Bonfires. It not only allows for teleportation, but adds some items from the Dark Souls games that enhace the gameplay, such as weapon reinforcement and estus flasks.
PSA: DO NOT TRY TO COMBINE THE COILED SWORD FROM BONFIRES WITH ANYTHING ON AN ANVIL, AS THE GAME WILL CRASH

The Boss Fights:
I have added many boss mods to the original modpack: Marium's Soulslike Weaponry, Bosses of Mass Destruction, and more. There should be plenty of ways to fight these bosses, as BetterCombat and Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks grant many ways to play. There's even a new movement system provided by Parcool!

The Structures:
There are dangerous dungeons teeming with evil and loot, peacful villages with many friendly names, and boss arenas waiting to be discoverd!

The Loot:
What about the loot? There's LOADS of it. The mod Apotheosis adds many new attributes to weapons and armor, which buffs loot significantly. This modpack has been designed to make sure that your weapons get strong with you! There are also many artifacts and curios to find and buff your character with!

RPG Elements:
This modpack contains Auto Leveling, which gives mobs levels, and increases their stats depending upon how far away from spawn they are! There is also the Epic Stats Mod Remastered, which is a leveling system that allows you to increase your character's base stats so that way you can keep up with the challenges! And thanks to the mod, FTB Quests, there are several base kits to choose from when you begin the game!
Start Up Guide:
There are few things that you should know when starting this pack:
- This mod uses FTB quests to help get you started up. You can access these quests through your inventory.
- Be sure to read the books you start out with. They are your guides on the journey through the many mods in this modpack.
- Balancing is a work in progress. Let me know if the mobs get too strong or feel too easy.
PSAs:
- This modpack is very resource heavy. I would recommend at least 6GB of RAM allocated to it. If you are encountering FPS drops, it may be worthwhile to either turn off DistantHorizons or the shaders.
- The Essential Mod is meant for any easy way to connect to friends. However, I cannot guarantee that the performance during multiplayer will be smooth. I plan on making a server pack at some point to resolve some of these problems.
- Hopefully I will be able to update and configure this pack in the future. Please comment any changes you think would be good, and I would be glad to consider them!
- With regard's to the licensing, feel free to edit this pack and publish it as your own or use my custom datapacks, as long as you give me credit. Any other types of modification are reserved and you should reach out to me for clarification.
- Distant Horizons and the shaders are OFF by default. You can turn them on by going to the settings. Distant Horizons is in the settings menu on the top left, and the shaders are in the in the video settings under Oculus.
Credits:
All credit that is due goes to the respective mod authors. I do not claim any credit for their work. I simply added the mods to this mod pack and integrated them.
