Bottom of The Barrel is a "Revision" modpack that has a lofty yet straightforward goal.

To take Minecraft and refocus its design on the core mechanics it has been built upon since the beginning.

This Modpack is all about Underground Exploration, Resource Collection/Management, and Building.

A.K.A: Mining, Crafting, Building.

Features added to this modpack aim to bring the attention away from haphazardly adding things that are only cool for a few seconds, and instead to bringing insightful revisions to existing mechanics all the while adding things that would elaborate on these existing systems.

Features Including:

• A Totally Reworked Enchantment System thanks to Immersive Enchanting
• Sophisticated Backpacks, Rebalanced to feel more appropriate for the game while still extending exploration time.
• New Building Tools from mods such Only Hammers and Excavators, Chisels and Bits, Joy of Painting Neo, Architects Palette, and Quark (Vertical Slabs anyone?)
• Armor Set Bonuses and Armor Modifiers to make all tiers feel like they serve a utility instead of being forgotten right after acquiring a better material
• Anvils no longer having "Too Expensive" for repairs, and being repairable with an iron ingot.
• Visual Improvements to bring more atmosphere.
• A Quest Book REPURPOSED as an In-Game Handbook that details the many changes made.
