A modpack that shows the direction the game could have taken if the Adventure Update was good

Description

Requires Optifine's "custom entity model" feature!

True Adventure is a modpack for version 1.12.2, inspired by beta 1.7.3, Better Than Adventure, and Reindev. The goal of this project is to return Minecraft to its original simplicity and ease, while preserving the spirit of adventure and making the game more diverse and interesting, without turning relatively new versions into beta.

This name was chosen because the update following beta 1.7.3 was called Adventure Update, which, in my subjective opinion, does not correspond to reality. Therefore, combining my vision of what Minecraft could be in an alternative timeline (and inspired by BTA), I named this project True Adventure.

This modpack makes the following changes to the game:

  1.  Old combat system. No attack cooldowns, axes deal less damage than swordsbow mechanics are the same as in alpha;
  2. Many unnecessary blocks have been removed, such as decorative terracotta blocks, many mobs and biomes have been removed;
  3. The End is completely disabled. No Endermen, endstone, or Ender Dragon. In my opinion, a light sandbox does not need an ending or a boss that would signify the completion of the game. Play as much as you want!;
  4. Generation as in beta 1.7.3 with several custom biomes, such as savanna and swamp;
  5. Nerfing of the enchantment system. No more mending, sharpness, and similar enchantments that completely negate the need for progression;
  6. Completely rewritten trade tables for villagers. No more trading for emeralds, no enchanted diamond tools or armors. Villagers are more like an addition to this empty but pleasant world;
  7. Emeralds are now not a decorative resource for trading, but a full-fledged material from which weapons, tools and armor can be created;
  8. Reworked textures, crafts, names, loot tables and models of some mobs to better convey a pleasant nostalgic atmosphere;
  9. Aether with completely rewritten loot tables, new biomes, mobs, blocks, weapons, tools, and armor. In addition to this, there are a large number of custom artifacts!;
  10. A more ‘lively’ Nether. Now you can find a bunch of new and interesting mobs, new vegetation, hellish trees, pigman villages, new ores, and much more in the Nether;
  11. Redesigned villages, new dungeons and structures added;
  12. Many new mobs created specifically for this modpack, such as froggy villagers, pigmens, angels, nether spiders, etc.;
  13. Trading system with froggy villagers, pigmens and angels. It works similarly to trading with piglins in newer versions, but instead of throwing items, you have to right-click on the mob with the item in your hand (beetroot, ruby or emerald, respectively);
  14. New main menu;
  15. ‘Combined’ health system (combination of new mechanics with beta). Health regeneration is completely disabled. Food is only needed for the player's for survive. To heal, you need to use elixirs, food with healing effects or use a healing staff;
  16. Each village now has a board with tasks that can be completed to obtain elixirs, gold coins (a new currency for trade), music records, etc.;
  17. The ability to meet other ‘players’ who can be made friends for a diamond, give them armor and weapons, and they in turn will help you in battle;
  18. Some mechanics from the new versions, such as a blacksmith's table, netherite, composter, stone cutter, raw ore variations, etc.;

The following is a list of materials used in the Resource Loader:

  1.  Order Of The Stone - Programmer Art;
  2. Immersive Beta;
  3. Compromise;
