"more like a modpocket"

Description

Barely Forged Banner

Barely Forged is a bare-bones light modpack for Forge, which follows some thematic directions from my Barely Series.

However, this pack is even further light-weighted, sticking much closer to vanilla.

Not even a modpack, but more like a modpocket.

Recommendations:

Related to performance: Barely is lightweight (100 mods), and without mods that introduces complex machinery/magic system.

Important note: If you encounter rendering issues or crashes and your computer doesn't need the juice, consider disabling Magnesium. While the mod may cause quite a few issues, I think it is worth overall due to my experience with my beautiful potato [if you have one too, I am sure that mod will be a welcomed addition].

Design Details:

  • Check the images tabs for visuals.
  • Thirst system added.
  • Food diets values system added.
  • Temperature system added.
  • Fatigue system added [Sleeping now accelerates time rather than skipping the night].
  • New ores from the nether and end added, with some selected tools and armors.
  • Armors and Tools use a laddering system, crafted on the Smithing Table.
  • A few mods that adds some new bosses and mobs.
  • A few mods that adds biomes.
  • Custom Alloy Forge to craft netherite and a few modded alloys.
  • Better Portals modified the way to get to the nether.
  • End remastered modified way to get to the end.
  • A few light weight tinkering mods [examples: darkness, golem farm helper, craft takes time, wolves armors, finite water, craft spawner, storage connection, etc].
  • Some new food [diet/fatigue/temperature values added].
  • Some QOL improvements (gui stuff, JEI, minimap, etc).
  • Core Progression Ladder: Wood -> Stone -> Iron Ingot -> Diamond -> Gobber Ingot -> End Crystal Ingot -> Netherite Ingot -> Enderite Ingot -> Nether Gobber Ingot -> End Gobber Ingot -> Dragon Star.

Not much else, to be fair.

The future:

- Play testing: I developed and tested this alone, so if you find something weird [or broken], let me know.
