Description
Bamily Rocks is the official pack used on JonBams' Sub server.
While this pack was designed for server play, it is fully playable in single player and available to everyone. You are going to notice that it feels like vanilla throughout the early game as most mods aside from cosmetic mods are gated by nether materials. When you make it to the nether, it is best to be prepared as the mobs there are not playing around. Enchant yourself the best set of diamond armor you can, grab a sword and get going on the modded experience. Vanilla mechanics have been fairly unchanged, so don't expect a lot of complication unless you go for "late game" items or magic. This pack is more about making amazing builds and surviving the nether. Many mods have been added for cosmetic purposes like decocraft, chisel, z-tones, hexcraft. None of these cosmetic mods are gated.
Most tech is gated behind steel, which is obtained through the immersive engineering mod and its blast furnace.
Tinkers is gated behind the QED crafting method.
Magic is gated behind nether materials and have been heavily tweaked to need each other to progress (botania/thaumcraft).
