Have you ever though, that Astral Sorcery was "too easy" and "too short"?
Well, now there is a solution. This pack!
I always wanted an mini-expert pack focused on Astral Sorcery. Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't any other mods.
Many new items have been added using KubeJS, adding to the grindiness of the pack. FTBQuests adds a questbook, which guide you through the pack. Completing these quests will give you rewards. Extended Crafting adds bigger tables (such as 5x5 or 7x7), to be used as a substitution for Astral Sorcery Altars, and end-game ProjectE recipes. ProjectE is a life changing mod, that adds for easier item access and Item Transmutation, and overall makes life so much easier. To aquire Extended Crafting and ProjectE is not required to beat the pack, they are merely "flavor-mods" if you will + they are extremely expensive. All these mods combined will make the pack way more interesting, than just playing Astral Sorcery alone.
With most recipes being changed, this pack is sure to give you a challenge regarding Astral Sorcery. The final goal of the pack is to get the Celestial Gateway and unlock teleportation. The player works through the Astral Sorcery progression, and tiers of Altars, along with new recipes. An important detail is, the recipes are extremely expensive compared when compared to regular Astral Sorcery. Batch-crafting is the way of the game here. Several Custom Machines have been added, that the player can use, to improve the quality of the gameplay. Though this pack is not too big. If you rush to the Celestial Gateway, it might take about 20 hours, but if you want 100% completion, it might take more than 40 hours. If you want to play a quick, but not easy pack, this would be my recommendation.
