The modpack that you should download if you wanna play Minecraft on our discord server.
The mods aren't my own, of course. The list of mods that actually add stuff to the game and their descriptions:

- Akashic Tome (lets you compile all the different guidebooks from the various mods together into one book)
- Aquaculture (makes fishing fun)
- Backpacks (adds backpacks)
- Biomes O' Plenty (adds biomes)
- Buildcraft (adds quarries which basically automatically mine out areas of the world for you)
- Chisel (adds a ton of new decorative building blocks accessed using the Chisel item)
- Cooking for Blockheads (adds food storage things and automatically crafts food recipes based on the items you put in the food storage things)
- Draconic Evolution (basically the endgame mod, adds extremely expensive and overpowered items to the game)
- Enchanting Plus (adds an enchanting table that lets you pick enchantments using sliders at the cost of more exp)
- IndustrialCraft (I don't know how this mod works I added it because nama wanted it)
- JEI (adds the thing on the right side of the inventory that gives you info on how to craft stuff)
- LootBags (adds lootbags to dungeon chests, etc)
- Malisis Doors (basically adds a bunch of really cool doors)
- Mekanism (the tech mod I added in case you want to go into that stuff)
- MoreFurnaces (adds more powerful furnaces which smelt faster & add cool functionality)
- Morpheus (fixes sleeping)
- Natura (worldgen tweaks)
- NetherEx (adds biomes, plants, overall cool stuff to the nether)
- OpenBlocks (adds various cool blocks to the game)
- OreExcavation (lets you mine whole trees and full veins of ore automatically)
- Pam's Get All The Seeds (destroying tall grass randomly has a chance to give you any seed/planting item in the game, basically increases biodiversity)
- Pam's HarvestCraft (adds new seeds, plants, farming stuff, etc)
- Quark (basically the Vanilla+ mod, adds everything that vanilla minecraft needed)
- Recurrent Complex (adds dungeons & generated structures)
- Reliquary (adds useful items, like a torch holder which holds multiple stacks of torches while allowing you to place them down)
- RFTools (same as IndustrialCraft)
- Roguelike Dungeons (same as Recurrent Complex)
- Rustic (adds medieval-inspired building & crops)
- StorageDrawers (self-explanatory)
- Tinkers Construct (probably the best mod ever created, adds ore doubling and a really cool modular tool system)
- Twilight Forest (adds a new dimension with new bosses and everything)
- Weee Flowers (adds new flowers and decorative flower vines)
