Modpack is essentially based on GregTech Community Edition (1.12.2), and built to provide an advanced, complex tech experince. One could say the pack was intended for large playtrough, with minimal performance decline for future progress. Even on singleplayer, running on not so much beefy computer.
Main features are:
- High-quality configuration & mod integration
- Regard to stability
- Hundreds lines of code written to improve your gameplay
If you like to simply play GregTech in 2020, this pack is one of the best options for you.
Allocating more than 2GB RAM is highly recommend.
Note that GTCE is still in development, so please report possible encountered issues.

Thanks to Ormsher, for providing a base of Thermal Dynamics script file :)
As you can see in Image subpage, all representative images comes from really early-game factory. If you've done bigger progress and built some immersive base, don't be restrained to contact me... ;)
Discord mod (https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/discord) is inclued to provide Rich Presence when Discord is running on your computer. This should violate privacy for some people, so feel free to remove the mod seamlessly.
Check out the Eradur Gwath's video!
Hey! So I've been playing the updated 1.3.3, but I removed Greg's Constructs+Tinker's Constructs, GCTE Bees; so then I could update Shadows of Greg and GCTE, which made things a lot more stable, so I'd love if you could make an official release, so I can fully benefit from the update. Thanks again for the great work!
A balance suggestion: I'm late MV now and I decided to make a Forestry tree farm for biomass and wood vinegar, which allows me to make methane, ethanol and methanol very easily. However, combined with the Pyroluse Oven, a Forestry tree farm just gives you so much charcoal that it's honestly a bit overpowered. If possible, I'd really increase the Forestry farm power requirements or make farm blocks significantly harder to make, difficult enough that you'd only be able to make a small farm in MV tier, with a full farm only really possible in late HV maybe. Maybe do this by requiring the use of a small amount of stainless steel, or maybe aluminium. I'd also make electron tubes harder to make.
In reply to EradurGwath:
I'm ashamed for replying that late, didn't managed to reserve some time to take care of the modpack.
Anyway, still thanks for playing it. You can also finally expect official update with updated GTCE. Also thanks for the balance suggestion about forestry farms, hopefully I will manage to find solution before releasing one of the another upcoming patches.
Hey, do you maybe know of any LV/MV options for medium/long-distance (400 blocks) fluid transport? I was thinking of using chunkloading minecarts, but those load over 5x5 chunks and that seems a bit excessive.
In reply to EradurGwath:
Hi,
Glad to see you are making that progress in the pack! Unfortunately I do't remember any other way of transporting liquid to these distances, than using chunkloaded rails + tank cart or pipes in your game stage. What fluid are you trying to transport?
Still very happy with this pack! Think you will be updating it again soon?
In reply to EradurGwath:
Of course, my plan is to keep modpack updated as long as GTCE is going to keep being updated for 1.12.2. Next update of AP-G is comming after getting enough votes in the poll about removing GTCE Bees.
I appreciate you are still liking my pack. Thanks for playing it even at it's these unupdated days.
Had some tests on it and it seems to be exactly the thing i am searching for. Are there any chances that you will provide the server-files ?
In reply to Forge_User_72231981:
Glad to see you are happy with this pack :)
Yes, there are still some plans for future. Maybe with one of the upcoming updates you will find the Server files included.
Great modpack! A question, are there any pumps available in the early bronze steam age, or do you need to constantly add water with a bucket to your coal boiler?
In reply to EradurGwath:
Sorry for my reply delay. IIRC the only available solution in early game is Water Tank from Railcraft. https://ftb.gamepedia.com/Water_Tank_(Railcraft). It slowly accumulates water inside and you should be able to attach pipes on it. It also pulls the Water out automatically.
Thanks for playing the pack :)
New recipies are good but I can use only Darmstadtium items when crafting fluiducts etc. Thanks for this modpack. Nice work :)
In reply to YagizSZGN:
Fixed in fast update 1.1.1 :)
And thanks for the compliment :D
Railcraft's Water Tank Siding multiblock isn't working. I cannot open it.
In reply to YagizSZGN:
Thanks for the report! Will try to fix it :)
In reply to YagizSZGN:
Okay, it seems like RailCraft's own issue:
