Description
Origin's Merlings are one of the most unique ways to play Minecraft, but unfortunately vanilla's oceans are just... plain lacking. Playing as a Merling quickly becomes stale, just because there really isn't much to do or see down there. There's also the issue of world generation- you either have to use a seed, or find an ocean before you suffocate, and even then it will probably be very cramped. This modpack aims to solve each and every one of these problems!
Featuring:
- A whole host of new ocean mobs, both friendly and hostile - and some fellow sea settlers
- Many new foods, so you're not stuck eating kelp all day
- New blocks, recipes, crafting recipes and mechanics so you have to leave the water as little as possible - nether ores spawn in the overworld
- An assortment of quality of life features to make your playthrough a bit more pleasant; waystones, journeymap, sophisticated backpacks
- Increased difficulty over the base game while remaining balanced
- A whole host of graphical upgrades and improvements to land generation
- The whole world is made up of ocean save for some small islands!

- If you don't want to play as a merling, there are still plenty of features for a pirate-themed playthrough, including ships
