This modpack is designed with lower-end PCs in mind, while still offering the feeling of having more content than you’d expect. Lightweight, but rich — that’s the goal.
I started building this pack because I wanted to play with the latest Byzantine style for Minecolonies, but combined with the mods I personally enjoy. I try to avoid overlapping mods that do the same thing, so if your favorite mod isn’t included, it’s probably because another mod already fills that role.
The core tech mods in the pack are Create, Modern Industrialization, Mekanism, Powah, and Applied Energistics. There are others as well, but these form the backbone of the tech progression.
For magic, Iron’s Spells & Spellbook is currently my favorite, and I’ll be adding more addons for it as they’re released. The pack also includes other magic options — and if Thaumcraft ever updates to this version, it will absolutely be added.
Exploration is expanded with new structures from Dungeons and Taverns, challenging new bosses from L_Ender’s Cataclysm, and plenty of other dimensions and locations to discover.
Quality-of-life mods like Sophisticated Backpacks and Comforts are included too, with more being added over time when they make sense for the pack.
