Combat Mechanics

  • Soulslike Combat System:

    • Epic Fight Mod for animations and mechanics.

    • Block, Parry, and Dodge Mod.

    • Combat Roll Mod (Control key for rolls with i-frames).

    • Free Cam (use as a tactical invincibility tool).

    • Achieved with:

  • Default Controls:

    • Tab - Toggle combat/mining mode.

    • Control - Roll (i-frames).

    • Right Click - Parry (more i-frames, knockback).

    • F4 - Free Cam (toggle ghost mode).

  • Skill-Driven Fights:

    • Hypothetically, every boss can be beaten without armor.

 

 

Impressive Visuals

  • Enhanced Aesthetics:

    • Combines William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld, a modified Alacrity resource pack, and Explosive Enhancements.

    • Carefully optimized to run on most systems.

  • Recommended Setup:

    • Disable Distant Horizons during combat for better FPS.

    • Add Oculus for shaders if you have a powerful system.

    • At minimum an equivalent to RTX 2060 GPU for a smooth experience (~45-60 fps).

Getting Started

  1. Familiarize Yourself with Controls:

    • Scroll through the control settings and customize as needed.

  2. Learn the Recipes:

    • Use Just Enough Items (JEI) to see crafting recipes and plan your progression.

  3. Follow Recommended Progression:

    • Stick to the suggested progression for a balanced and rewarding experience.

  4. Consult Resources:

    • Refer to Minecraft controls and mod wikis for detailed guidance.

  5. Ask Yourself, “Is This Boring?”

    • If something feels tedious, there’s likely a mod in here to make it more enjoyable!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recommended Progression:

  1. Punch tree, Epic Fight stone tools

  2. Kill cows, horses, zombies (smelt rotten flesh) and collect wool/plants to make beds, saddle, and backpack. Tame horse and set as personal horse (callable). 

  3. Loot ship dungeon and craft explorer’s compass

  4. Locate stronghold, build nether portal, and locate End Plains (craft Nature’s compass if needed)

  5. Go to the nether and locate the nether fortress. 

  6. (OPTIONAL) Loot overworld dungeons (When Dungeons Arise, Dungeons & Taverns, Dungeons Now Loading 1% dungeon, Yung’s Betters) IF you need a drill to get to the fortress.

  7. Obtain blaze rods from the Nether Fortress (fighting blazes) and ender pearls from the End Plains (fighting enderman)

  8. Ender dragon speedrun (stone, maybe iron stuff)

  9. (Optional) Blue skies IF you DIDN'T loot overworld dungeons

  10. (Optional) Standalone overworld Boss Fights: Mowzie’s Mobs, Legendary Monsters

  11. Aether (brew fire resistance potions if struggling with final boss fight)
