AEROS Update – Release Notes

A new AEROS build is here! This update focuses mainly on mod updates, stability improvements and a few useful additions to make storage and colony/automation defense a little more interesting.

Updated Mods

Several mods have been updated to their latest compatible versions.
This should improve overall stability, compatibility and performance across the pack.

Special attention in this update goes to the continued refinement of the Create ecosystem, including backported improvements where available.

Added Mods

Iron Chests

Added Iron Chests.

Early- and mid-game storage should now feel a lot less painful. Before you fully dive into AE2 or another large storage system, Iron Chests gives you a nice stepping stone with bigger and upgradeable chests.

More storage. Less chest monster. Slightly less chaos. Probably.

Create Guardian Beam Defense

Added Create Guardian Beam Defense.

This adds new defensive possibilities with a Create-style feeling. It fits nicely with the idea of protecting your colony, base or factory from unwanted visitors while keeping the tech aesthetic of the pack intact.

This could also open up some interesting options for future quests, colony defense objectives or event-based challenges.

General Notes

AEROS is still being refined step by step. Quests, progression and mod connections are being worked on, with the goal of making the pack easier to follow while still leaving room for creativity and discovery.

The pack is built around learning different systems gradually: Create, MineColonies, storage, automation, farming, power and exploration. Future updates will continue to improve that flow.

Final Note

As always: thank you for playing, testing and sharing feedback.
Bug reports, ideas and suggestions are very welcome — they help shape the future of AEROS.
