Adapt and Overcome is a modpack that focuses on exploration, and taming powerful creatures. You're a human in a world full of dinosaurs and beasts. With only the resources that is available, you must prove why you are at the top of the food chain.

This modpack includes these mods for mobs to fight and tame, and exploration to make minecraft feel more alive and dangerous. (Be wary of the weather)

You can tame dinosaurs to use for combat or to ride. You can explore the newly improved oceans and caves with many new mobs to fight or to learn about. The nether and end has a lot more content to explore. There are mods like the Create mod which allows you to pretty much create anything whether it's automation or big machinery one block at a time. You can even create weapons like guns to fight back against the mobs who plan to do you harm. There is more to this modpack all you have to do is experience it. This modpack is made for single player and multiplayer using the essential mod you can host a world yourself for your friends to join.
