Official Maps Downloader & Resource Pack System

New Features

In-Game Official Maps Browser Added a comprehensive map downloading system accessible directly from the main menu. Players can now browse, download, and install official ZombieRool maps without leaving the game. The downloader features automatic integrity verification, resume support for interrupted downloads, and smart retry logic for unstable connections.

Automatic Resource Pack Management Maps with custom resource packs are automatically detected and handled. When downloading an official map that includes a resource pack, players receive a prompt asking whether to download it alongside the map. The system includes duplicate detection to prevent reinstalling existing packs.

Solo World Resource Pack Detection When loading a world that has an associated resource pack, the game now automatically detects it and prompts the player to apply it. This eliminates the need to manually navigate through resource pack settings. Players can choose to apply the pack immediately, decline for the current session, or permanently disable prompts for specific worlds.

Multiplayer Resource Pack Support Server worlds with custom resource packs now communicate their requirements to connecting clients. When joining a multiplayer server hosting a map with a resource pack, clients receive automatic prompts to download and apply it if not already installed. This ensures visual consistency across all players.

Network Optimization The download system includes multiple safeguards for slower connections: configurable timeouts adapted for mobile networks, automatic retry on failure, progressive download with resume capability, and clear error messaging when manual download is recommended.
