Added
- 4 NEW ANIMALS: Asian elephant, Indian gharial, Sloth, and Tree frog
- 3 NEW AMBIENTS: Betta, Leafcutter ant, and Plecostomus
- NEW EGG LAYING FEATURE. The bald eagle, emperor penguin, flamingo, hornbill, indian gharial, kakapo, and macaw now lay eggs after being bred, and the tree frog will give frogspawn.
- NEW EGG ITEMS. Regular eggs have a 10% chance to spawn the baby, creative mode eggs are 100%. Aquatic eggs are a 50% chance and cannot be incubated.
- NEW INCUBATOR BLOCK. Runs on charcoal only; 9 charcoal will up an egg's spawn chance from 10% to 100% in 12 real life minutes.
- NEW FENCE: The cable fence and fence gate are all new boundary blocks to help build for your zoo!
- Zookeeper uniforms! Trade for emeralds with a Shepherd villager, and dye them!
- With spawn eggs you can now select a variant with sneak + right click the air. This is limited to OP'd users!
- Capture items such as the net and cage have more detailed tooltips for the animal they contain.
Changed
- Ambient animals will eat their breeding items if dropped and automatically breed, they still have a 5 min breeding cooldown.
- A lot of the fish ambients are appropriately set as species variants now.
- Ambient babies are scaled to 1/2 the adult size.
- Entity data jsons have been updated to rehaul the captive variants section. This also includes new rendering logic for textures! (Effects addons)
- Model files are generified to allow use by different entities.
- Tons of other backend code-wise changes that (hopefully..) won't effect your gameplay, but will help us port easier to new MC versions.
Fixed
- Wild, unnamed aquatic animals (currently just the orca) and all ambients despawn now, working similar to vanilla dolphins. They should no longer overpopulate!
- Using a spawn egg to spawn a baby now uses proper species or variant passing logic.
- Baby ambients are named now if this option is enabled in the config.
- While in creative mode, a capture net should no longer duplicate itself upon releasing an animal.
- Data book variant icon alignment has been adjusted to account for higher numbers of variants.
- Blocks should be harvestable with appropriate tools.
