YapiPaleofusion is a modular compatibility layer for prehistoric and dinosaur mods. It unifies DNA, fossils, analyzers, spawns, and progression into one cohesive system. Optional integrations load only when supported mods are installed.

SPE Integration Update

This update brings full integration of Shineal’s Prehistoric Expansion into the YAPI DNA ecosystem, unifying fossils, DNA processing, and creature incubation across both mods.

World & Spawn Integration

  • Disabled all SPE biomes and world generation
  • Disabled natural spawning of SPE creatures
  • Safe compatibility: no crashes or content loading when SPE is absent
  • Added Forge dependency version check for SPE

Unified DNA Pipeline

All SPE creatures and plants now follow the YAPI lifecycle:

Fossil → DNA Flask → Cultivation / Incubation → Creature / Plant

Custom SPE Egg System

Introduced a fully custom hatchable egg mechanic for terrestrial SPE species:

  • Unique 3D egg blocks (custom geometry & collision)
  • 5-minute real-time hatch timer
  • Chunk-safe persistence
  • Crack particles and hatch sound
  • Spawns correct SPE creature
  • Breaking egg returns placer item (except explosions)

Carnotaurus, Therizinosaurus, Utahraptor, Spinosaurus, Amargasaurus,
Dimorphodon, Anurognathus, Phorusrhacos, Dodo, Serpopard, Ammit

Dodo Egg Rework

Replaced original SPE egg behavior with vanilla-like mechanics:

  • Dodo now lays eggs naturally
  • Egg is consumed on throw
  • Fixed infinite-throw exploit
  • Egg deals 2 damage on hit
  • Added proper break particles

Added SPE fossil integration for processing machines:
