Description

Prevents XP farms by reducing XP dropped in chunk with every mob kill.

 

This small and simple mod's target audience is modpack/server makers who want to prevent XP depreciation (loss of value).

 

Configurable options:

xp decreases every *this* many kills, default 50

xp decrease amount, default 1

minimum xp dropped, default 1

 

On average, zombie drops 5 XP + 1–3 per equipment piece worn.

With this mod first 50 zombies killed will drop full XP (5), next 50 will drop 4, then 3 and so on.

Without mod 200 zombie kills in a chunk (at the spawner, for example) would give minimum 1000 XP (approx. 26 levels).

With mod it will be 700 XP (approx. 22 levels), and then each mob kill would be giving only 1 XP, which means 1400 zombie kills total for 30 lvls of XP.

 

Of course you can adjust the milestone value to make the curve more steep or relaxed. Or you can set "minimum xp dropped" to zero to shut the spawner farming altogether.

 

Use in modpacks is permitted and encouraged.
