Xiaoxiang Cultivation World v0.1.1003 Update Notes

This update mainly adds lifespan, souls, Difu/Underworld content, Foundation Building and Golden Core progression routes, sect world generation, sect gameplay, NPC popups, NPC skin pools, formation UI improvements, and many related fixes.

New and Reworked Content

  • Added the lifespan and bone age system. Characters now have different lifespans based on origin, realm, and cultivation state.
  • Added the post-death soul state. Death can now lead into soul-related gameplay instead of only the normal death flow.
  • Added reincarnation, Recall Pills, and Difu reincarnation mechanics.
  • Added the Difu dimension, Naihe Bridge, Difu terrain, Nether-like flora, chains, bone structures, and Difu villages.
  • Added Soul Reapers, Soul Hooks, Soul Reaper Orders, and soul target lists.
  • Added NPC souls after death, NPC soul escorting, and related soul visuals.
  • Added a corpse system. Players and NPCs can leave corpses after death, which can later decay into bones.
  • Added the Four Foundation Daos and Foundation material routes, making Foundation breakthrough no longer a single-path process.
  • Added Golden Core routes, Golden Core materials, Golden Core Dao bonuses, and related acquisition methods.
  • Added Loose Immortal / Nine-Tribulation Loose Immortal support and tokens.
  • Added a separate cultivation progress system. Cultivation progress is now used for breakthrough, while qi is used for spells, shields, and other costs.
  • Added Dao name, gender display/editing, lifespan display, Foundation information, and improved character info UI.
  • Added the Origin Reconfiguration Token stat-editing flow for adjusting certain character data.
  • Added Ghost Cultivation / Ghost Dao equipment restrictions and soul-state cultivation logic.

Spells and Combat

  • Reworked Qi Flight upkeep. Qi is only consumed while the player is actually flying.
  • Reworked Void Escape and Heavenly Tribulation interaction. Void Escape can no longer be used to escape tribulation.
  • Added/reworked spell terrain destruction settings. Players can control whether spells damage terrain, and servers can force-disable it.
  • Added Palm Thunder charge/armed orb gameplay. After charging, the player can detonate it with left-click.
  • Added passive spell content such as Qi Mending.
  • Added the Realm Pressure spell, which can suppress movement, flight, and some abilities of lower-realm targets.
  • Improved caster-only glowing outlines for Divine Sense, Truth Sight Eye, Soul Mark, and similar effects.
  • Adjusted Qi Shield and Heavenly Tribulation damage interaction.
  • Added and fixed many same-sect immunity, sect protection, spell damage source, and NPC spell-casting rules.

Sects and World Generation

  • Added large generated sect settlements.
  • Sects can generate gates, main halls, disciple residences, servant residences, protection arrays, pavilions, streetlights, alchemy furnaces, and forging workshops.
  • Added hidden ancestor caves. Some sects may generate a special underground cave below the main hall with an Ancestor NPC.
  • Reworked sect roads, foundations, gates, building heights, and terrain blending for more natural generation.
  • Sects can now generate in more terrains and biomes. Later versions also increased sect density, including possible generation in forests, water areas, and oceans.
  • Sect chests and barrels can now contain cultivation-related loot.
  • Removed the old small cultivation building worldgen. Exploration now focuses more on large sect settlements.

Sect Gameplay

  • Added sect saved data. Generated sects now store names, members, roles, enemies, tasks, and formation data.
  • Added sect NPC roles: Master, Elder, Inner Disciple, Outer Disciple, Guard Disciple, Servant, and later Ancestor.
  • Added player sect joining through sect NPC dialogue.
  • Added sect tokens linked to sect protection arrays, usable by players and NPCs as passage credentials.
  • Added sect tasks and contribution. Players can complete hand-in tasks to gain contribution.
  • Added sect member lists, relation trees, task pages, sect status, and same-sect friendly fire settings.
  • Added same-sect protection and sparring toggles to prevent accidental damage.
  • Added sect hostility, revenge, and guard pursuit logic.
  • Added sect extermination. Killing all NPC members of a sect now triggers a destruction announcement.

NPCs and UI

  • Reworked the Wandering Cultivator NPC trade/details popup into a book-style interface.
  • NPC popups now include category display, character info, Zhenyuan stats, trade confirmation, and clearer item slots.
  • NPCs freeze while trading and resume their original target/behavior after the popup closes.
  • Adjusted NPC trade distance behavior. The popup no longer closes only because of a fixed distance limit as long as the NPC remains loaded/tracked.
  • Greatly reworked the NPC skin pool with 48 Chinese fantasy / xianxia-style NPC skins.
  • NPC skins now use classic 64x64 Minecraft skin format, with fixes for white seams, face offset, layered hair, and gender mismatch.
  • NPC skins are now assigned through explicit male/female pools, so popup gender and visual gender should match.

Formations and Sect Protection Arrays

  • Reworked the formation plate GUI with clearer flag lists, qi storage, activation state, range controls, and range preview.
  • Added direct formation flag radius input, allowing players to adjust formation effect range more easily.
  • Fixed generated sect protection array and maze formation center/radius issues that could cause incorrect teleportation.
  • Immortal-tier sect protection arrays now damage hostile entities touching the barrier.
  • Generated sect formation flag radius can now be edited by players and will no longer be forcibly restored by the system.
  • Sect protection arrays no longer protect hostile mobs or sect enemies inside the dome, preventing enemies from being shielded by the barrier.

Items, Blocks, and Assets

  • Added Foundation materials, Golden Core materials, soul-related items, Loose Immortal tokens, Sex Change Pills, Youth Pills, and more.
  • Added bone blocks and corpse decay remains.
  • NPC corpses now decay into a ground-laid skeleton skull + bone block setup, avoiding floating skull issues.
  • Added or reworked multiple spell icons, pill icons, Foundation/Golden Core material icons, spell book element ribbons, and GUI art assets.
  • Technique books and spell books are now sorted by tier.
  • Reduced the charge time required to use the Foundation Secret manual.

Performance and Stability

  • Greatly optimized sect world generation to reduce lag and chunk generation issues from large sects.
  • Optimized sect generation caching and terrain handling to reduce repeated calculations.
  • Optimized idle sect protection dome scanning.
  • Optimized soul / Soul Reaper tick costs.
  • Optimized Difu transfer by preparing the Naihe Bridge scene earlier to reduce teleport stutter.
  • Optimized formation spherical range preview rendering.
  • Fixed many client/server sync issues, NPC state issues, sect data issues, corpse grounding issues, skin gender issues, spell glow issues, and worldgen boundary problems.

新增與重製內容

  • 新增壽元與骨齡系統,角色會依身份、境界與修煉狀態擁有不同壽元。

  • 新增或重製法術地形破壞設定,玩家可控制法術是否破壞地形,伺服器也能強制關閉。
  • 新增掌心雷蓄力 / 常駐雷球玩法,蓄力後可左鍵引爆。
  • 新增補氣術等被動法術相關內容。
  • 新增境界威壓法術,可壓制低境界目標的行動、飛行與部分能力。
  • 強化神識外放、真視之眼、魂魄標記等「只有施法者可見」的發光輪廓效果。
  • 調整靈氣護盾與雷劫傷害互動,雷劫可依規則被護盾與肉體防禦處理。
  • 新增 / 修正多種同門免傷、宗門防護、法術傷害來源與 NPC 法術判定。

宗門與世界生成

  • 新增大型宗門聚落世界生成系統。
  • 宗門會生成山門、主殿、弟子居所、僕役居所、護宗大陣、涼亭、路燈、煉丹 / 煉器工坊等建築。
  • 新增隱藏祖師洞,部分宗門會在主殿下方生成特殊洞府與祖師 NPC。
  • 宗門道路、地基、山門、建築高度與地形銜接經過大量重製,生成效果更自然。
  • 宗門可在更多地形與群系生成,後續版本提高了宗門生成密度,包含森林、水域與海上也有機率生成。
  • 宗門箱子 / 木桶會填入修仙相關戰利品。
  • 舊的小型修仙建築自然生成被移除,世界探索重心改為大型宗門聚落。

宗門玩法

  • 新增宗門資料系統,生成宗門會保存宗門名稱、成員、職位、敵對、任務與陣法資料。
  • 新增宗門 NPC 身份:掌門、長老、內門弟子、外門弟子、守衛弟子、僕役,以及後續加入的祖師。
  • 新增玩家加入宗門流程,可透過宗門 NPC 對話入宗。
  • 新增宗門令牌,玩家或 NPC 可持有與護宗大陣連結的通行憑證。
  • 新增宗門任務與貢獻系統,玩家可接取交付物品任務並獲得貢獻。
  • 新增宗門成員列表、關係樹、任務頁、宗門狀態與同門免傷設定。
  • 新增同門保護與同門切磋開關,避免宗門成員被誤傷。
  • 新增宗門敵對、復仇與守衛追擊邏輯。
  • 新增宗門覆滅機制,殺光某宗門的 NPC 成員後會觸發覆滅提示。

NPC 與介面

  • 重製遊蕩修士 NPC 交易 / 詳情介面,改為書冊風格。
  • NPC 介面加入分類展示、角色資訊、真元資料、交易確認與更清楚的物品欄位。
  • NPC 交易時會暫停行動,關閉介面後恢復原本目標與行為。
  • NPC 交易距離限制調整,只要 NPC 仍載入並可追蹤,就不會因固定距離直接關閉。
  • 大幅重製 NPC Skin 池,新增 48 張中式古風 / 仙俠風 NPC Skin。
  • NPC Skin 改為經典 64x64 Minecraft Skin 格式,修正白線、臉部偏移、頭髮層次、性別錯配等問題。
  • NPC Skin 會依實際標記分成男性 / 女性池,NPC 顯示性別與外觀性別會一致。

陣法與護宗大陣

  • 重製陣盤 GUI,加入更完整的陣旗列表、靈氣量、啟用狀態、範圍控制與範圍預覽。
  • 新增陣旗半徑輸入功能,可直接調整陣法作用範圍。
  • 修正宗門生成護宗大陣與迷蹤陣的球心、半徑與誤傳送問題。
  • 仙階護宗大陣新增屏障傷害,敵對生物碰到屏障會受到傷害。
  • 生成宗門的陣旗半徑現在可由玩家修改,不會再被系統強制還原。
  • 護宗大陣不再保護敵對生物或宗門敵對者,避免敵人站在陣內反而被護罩保護。

物品、方塊與資源

  • 新增築基材料、結丹材料、勾魂相關道具、散仙令牌、變性丹、返老還童丹等物品。
  • 新增骸骨方塊與 NPC 屍體腐化後的骸骨遺留物。
  • NPC 屍體腐化後會形成地面平鋪的骷髏頭顱 + 骸骨方塊,不再出現浮空頭顱。
  • 新增或重製多個法術圖示、丹藥圖示、築基 / 結丹材料圖示、法術書元素緞帶與 GUI 美術資源。
  • 功法書與法術書重新依等階排序。
  • 築基祕法使用蓄力時間縮短,操作更順。

效能與穩定性

  • 大幅優化宗門世界生成效能,避免大型宗門造成過度卡頓或區塊生成問題。
  • 優化宗門生成快取與地形處理,減少重複計算。
  • 優化護宗大陣閒置掃描成本。
  • 優化魂魄 / 勾魂使相關 tick 掃描成本。
  • 優化地府傳送流程,提前準備奈何橋場景以降低傳送卡頓。
  • 優化陣法球形範圍預覽效能。
  • 修正大量 client / server 同步、NPC 狀態、宗門資料、屍體落地、Skin 性別、法術發光與世界生成邊界問題。
