Intro This mod requires the Geckolib API!

DS Critters is a mod that aims to introduce various creatures from the Don't Starve series, faithfully custom created and aimed to fit into a semi-vanilla MC world.
Currently there are only 4 mobs included, Mandrakes, Cookie Cutters, Jackalopes, and the Moleworm. I may continue adding more in the future.
The mod is mostly ambiance based currently.

This is my first proper project, don't expect it to be flawless, caution is advised.
Bug reports and feedback are vital! Don't be afraid to share your thoughts!

Heads up! Currently it seems some people are unable to download the mod through the Forge button, manual should still works.
I'll try and figure out why this is the case soon.

Introduction

Currently implemented mobs:

-Moleworm: Can be found in burrows in groups of 3. They can be tamed and reproduced with both types of nuggets and will flee from cats. Will sneef and snorf!

Moleworm

-Cookie Cutters: Can be found in all types of ocean and around salt formation pillars, they're hostile but will flee when hurt for a bit. They'll chew through logs they find themselves stranded on and will attempt to hop at their targets if beached. They cannot be tamed but can be bred with sticks and all types of wooden tools.

Cookie Cutters

-Mandakes: Rare critters that spawn in Lush areas and moss patches. They can be killed for suspicious stews! They'll meep and merp all day, and will try to avoid light. They cannot be tamed but can be made to follow you if you're holding bonemeal.

Mandrake

-Jackalopes: Small critters that are pretty much identical to existing rabbits, but far more candid looking in my opinion. They can be found in rabbit burrows!
They cannot be tamed either but can be led and bred with carrots and berries.
Rabbits -Spears: These... 'critters' aren't critters at all. They're weapons. You can craft them with a flint, 2 string, and 2 sticks. Can be crafted with themselves to make a throwing variant.

Heads up! It's got a unique spearing animation if you install Better Combat, otherwise it's just a generic sword like-item.

As I've recently learned I'm not all that versed in pixel art just yet, so there aren't any new items included currently.
In the future I'd like to give mobs their proper drops, but until then they'll drop fitting vanilla items.

Otherwise I'd like to include more hostile mobs in the future. Maybe Batilisks? No-Eyed-Deer?
Clockworks!? Who knows just yet.
