Worthy Adversaries-1.0.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Worthy Adversaries has been separated from Iron and Blood as its own standalone module.
The enemy variant, spawning, equipment, loot, and experience systems previously included in Iron and Blood now belong to Worthy Adversaries. It does not require Iron and Blood to run, but can use Iron and Blood standards when both mods are installed.
New standalone module features:
-
Added configurable enemy size variants: Little, Small, Normal, Large, and Huge.
-
Added randomized creature combat traits, including health, strength, agility, and constitution variation.
-
Added configurable natural hostile spawn rate and density control.
-
Added configurable structure, patrol, chunk-generation, and spawner spawn controls.
-
Added separate spawn handling for natural, structure, chunk-generation, and spawner-created enemies.
-
Added configurable humanoid armor and weapon generation.
-
Added datapack-driven equipment pools with support for entity IDs, entity tags, weighted armor sets, armor layouts, and weapon choices.
-
Added worn-condition equipment generation with configurable durability ranges and low-durability bias.
-
Generated monster equipment now has configurable guaranteed drop chance.
-
Added reward scaling for non-equipment drops based on enemy strength and size.
-
Added combat-score-based experience scaling with configurable minimum and maximum limits.
-
Added protection against equipment farming from ordinary spawner-created enemies.
-
Added in-game configuration screen for variants, spawning, equipment, rewards, compatibility, and display settings.
Compatibility:
-
Iron and Blood compatibility is optional.
-
When Iron and Blood is installed, Worthy Adversaries uses its entity, health, equipment, condition, and combat standards.
-
Works independently when Iron and Blood is absent.
-
Added Epic Knights compatibility for balanced rusted armor, weapons, and shields.
-
Added Tinkers’ Construct Emergence spawn-order compatibility.
-
Added Valarian Conquest compatibility.
Valarian Conquest compatibility:
-
Valarian Soldiers and Archers now always drop every real item they are holding or wearing.
-
Main hand, offhand, helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots are all supported.
-
Drops preserve the original item, durability, enchantments, and NBT.
-
Valarian faction equipment is never replaced by Worthy Adversaries random equipment.
-
Lord Coronet drops are deduplicated: Valarian’s original coronet drop remains, while the normal equipment roll is disabled for that item.
-
The setting
Valarian Conquest: Always Drop Equipped Gearis enabled by default and available in the Compatibility configuration category.
Worthy Adversaries 1.0.0 is designed as a removable soft module: install it alone for enemy variety and encounter control, or combine it with Iron and Blood, Stamina and Endurance, Parry and Riposte, Epic Knights, and Valarian Conquest for deeper integration.
