Worlds Colliding - Core Mod
Worlds Colliding is the core foundation of the modpack of the same name. This mod serves as the technical engine, adding specific mechanics essential to the modpack’s narrative and progression system.
Key Features:
- Scourge Entity & Boss: Introduces the Scourge, a unique entity designed specifically for the modpack’s lore. As well as it's awakened version, serving as a boss.
- Narrative Engine: Implements a custom dialogue and text window system. This supports dynamic choices based on story progression and allows for the display of images.
- Immersive Experience: Includes specialized animations, cinematics, and sound effects to bridge the gap between a standard Minecraft experience and a dedicated video game narrative.
- Story Dimension: Adds a central dimension dedicated to the story. To ensure full multiplayer compatibility, the mod generates instanced player zones, each player has their own area within this dimension to prevent interference.
- Progression Tracking: Utilizes NBT data storage to save variables and player progress, ensuring that choices and milestones are persistent across sessions.
- Structure Generation: Includes custom logic for placing and managing story-driven structures within it's designated dimension.
