What's new

0.4.0

First public release. What came in since the first test builds:

- Earthen plaster for adobe and packed mud: clay, sand and straw, dry in 1-2 weeks, worn through by rain in 2-5 years.
- Lime plaster on more walls: deepslate bricks, cobbled deepslate and cut sandstone, and the stairs, slabs and walls of cobblestone, stone bricks and bricks. Plastered stairs keep their facing; plastered walls join the walls beside them.
- Patching adobe with a trowel and mud; the patch dries in a few days, and rain on it before then washes it out.
- Salt crust on adobe, as on brick.
- Icicles under the eaves, growing on freeze-thaw days, dripping away in a thaw; large ones can fall and hurt.
- Frost heave: trodden paths on wet soil break up in frost, and paving laid on wet soil takes twice the frost damage.
- Settlement: loaded masonry on mud or wet clay cracks.
- Dew on open ground at dawn (only the look).
- Wood shapes look wet too: slabs, stairs, fences, gates, doors and trapdoors.
- Mod support: Snow! Real Magic, The Roads More Travelled, ProtoManly's Weather, Jade, WTHIT.
