Magical herbs

WeedCraft adds six weed strains with increasing rarity and effects that spawn naturally, require no water or farmland, and include built-in commands for the mod creator only to switch between Creative and Survival.

This update builds on the original WeedCraft mod while keeping its core gameplay and visuals intact. The following new features and improvements were added:

  • Animated blunt usage (NEW)
    Blunts now support a proper usage animation using an animation library, allowing smoother and more immersive smoking visuals while the item is being used.

  • Subtle ember burning sound (NEW)
    While smoking, blunts emit a quiet ember crackle/burning sound. No breathing, inhaling, or exhaling sounds were added—only a realistic lit-ember effect.

  • Corrected blunt orientation (NEW visual fix)
    Blunt textures were horizontally flipped so the mouth end faces the player correctly, while smoke still rises upward as intended.

  • Improved client-side rendering (NEW internal change)
    Inventory and hotbar icons retain their original 2D appearance, while in-hand rendering supports animation—ensuring the mod looks right in all contexts.

  • Animation system foundation (NEW capability)
    The mod now has a solid animation framework in place, making it easy to add future visual upgrades such as ember glow, smoke synced to animations, or strain-specific effects.
