Why does this mod exist?
Point Blank weapons block most interactions with the world - you can't open chests, doors, or interact with villagers while holding a gun. This forces you to constantly switch between your weapon and other items just to do basic tasks.
Since swapping items every few seconds breaks gameplay flow, this mod lets you interact with things while keeping your weapon ready.
What does this mod do?
This mod enables smart interaction passthrough for Point Blank weapons:
- Block interactions: Open chests, doors, crafting tables, etc. while armed
- Entity interactions: Trade with villagers, ride vehicles, access inventories
- Configurable system: Choose exactly what you can/cannot interact with
- Auto-detection: Automatically recognizes common interactive elements
Configuration Options
- Allow/deny lists: Specify exact blocks and entities for interaction
- Auto-detection: Let the mod automatically find interactive elements
- Weapon compatibility: Configure which weapon mods are supported
- Debug logging: Troubleshoot interaction detection
Access configuration through the standard NeoForge config system.
Important Disclaimer
This mod will be immediately removed if:
- The Point Blank developers request its removal
- An official interaction system is added to the base mod
This is a quality-of-life improvement for seamless weapon handling.
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21.1 (I put 1.21.1 in the version because I developed on it, but it's not impossible that it works in other versions of 1.21, test at your own risk)
- Mod Loader: NeoForge

- Conflicts: None.
- known Compatibility still limited with some mods, mods like Waystones work fine, but can potentially fail on some mods, I need to see this in more detail.
Installation
- Download the mod JAR file
- Place it in your
mods/folder - Make sure Vic's Point Blank is installed
- Launch the game and configure interactions as needed
- Enjoy seamless world interaction while armed
