Craft the coil using copper and soul sand or soil. Attach a lightning rod to its top and you've got yourself a spooky machine that converts materials into their haunted versions upon being struck. Sweet berries to glow berries, brick to nether brick, sand to soul sand, dirt to soul soil, torches to soul torches, and so on. 

Some items have secret reactions to being transformed.
