Ships and portals were never meant to fight each other.

Your colossal moving creations from Valkyrien Skies and the seamless, mind-bending gateways of Immersive Portals are two of the most ambitious things you can add to Minecraft. Together they should feel god-tier.

Valkyrien Portals is the dedicated compatibility layer that makes it possible.

Current Status

Both mods now load and run together without crashing. Foundational render culling and camera/frustum handling patches are in progress. This is the critical first step toward full ship-portal integration.

What This Mod Does

Proper rendering of Valkyrien Skies ships when viewed through Immersive Portals
Better handling of ship transforms, client/server sync, and shipyard data in portal views
Camera and frustum fixes so portal rendering doesn’t break ships
The foundation for ships to cross portal boundaries while maintaining physics and structure

Requirements

Minecraft 1.20.1
Forge
Valkyrien Skies 2 (compatible version)
Immersive Portals (compatible version)

This mod requires both parent mods.

Installation

Drop the jar into your mods folder alongside Valkyrien Skies 2 and Immersive Portals.

Known Issues

See KNOWN_ISSUES.md. Most current issues are secondary effects from core mod interactions rather than this compat layer.
