UrdaVarg Roadworks

UrdaVarg Roadworks is a standalone Fabric mod for building roads and tunnels in Minecraft using a node-based planning system.

Place two Road Nodes, connect them with the Road Planner, and a persistent red trace shows the planned route. The direction and curvature can be adjusted independently from either end before the road is built.

Roadworks is a building tool, not a road generator

UrdaVarg Roadworks does not give you a finished, pre-designed road.

Instead, it gives you the core and geometry of the road, including smooth curves and a planned route that you can build around and customize yourself.

You remain the architect.

Choose your own blocks, materials, road surface, markings, sidewalks, barriers, lighting and surrounding details. Roadworks provides the underlying structure while leaving the actual design in your hands.

The Tunnel Creator follows the same philosophy. It does not build a finished tunnel for you. It clears the planned route and cuts through mountains and terrain, giving you the space needed to build and design the tunnel yourself.

The purpose of Roadworks is not to replace Minecraft building. It is to remove some of the repetitive and difficult groundwork so you can concentrate on the creative part.

Roadworks builds the foundation. You build the road.

Survival Mode

A dedicated Survival system is planned for a future update.

The planned Survival system will include craftable Road Nodes and tools, container-supplied road construction, resumable building when materials run out, and automated tunnel excavation with storage for excavated materials.

Creative Mode will remain available as its own system.
