Announcement : This mod will cease development forever following this bug fix, anything that hasn't been added will not be added, with the exception of config options or hard crashes that occur. Why is this? Another creator, Jbredwards has been working on a very 1:1 nether backport for some time and we have decided to join forces and supply our help and make his nether backport the DEFINITIVE nether backport. As for when that backport releases there is no ETA nor promises on a date. If you have any further questions please ask in our discord, thank you!
As for the time being, this mod will serve as a not entirely complete backport. Many thanks to Sir Squidly for almost all of these changes, this bug fix couldn't have been completed without him.

Additions
- A FULL TEXTURE REVAMP, all of the nethers textures have been redone entirely by Sir Squidly, having continuity with all the other backport mods (Oceanic Expanse, Deeper Depths)
- Bonemealing Nylium Grows the fungi, meanwhile bonemealing Netherrack with Nylium near it makes it spread
- Added a custom Soul Fire ambient sound
- Lodestones now show compass direction on their texture
- Added subtitle for Respawn Anchor ambience
- Weeping And Crimson vines now track age when growing, and on bonemeal randomly grow several blocks
- Respawn Anchor particles added, although they will not spawn if the top is obstructed
- Added Respawn Anchor Ambience when having atleast one charge
- Added Respawn Anchor clearing (By Sneaking and right clicking will clear the spawn point)
- Added Strider spawns in lava lakes (should help with Striders spawning)
Config Additions
- Added options to disable the following from generating -> (Portal Ruins, Nether Portal Ruins, Bastion)
- Added an option for configurable Y level of Bastions (this at the level upper bridges will spawn at not the very bottom of Bastions)
- Added an option for Anvil Recipes and Netherite
- Added an option for Strider Lava lake spawns and a enable/disable
- Added an option for allowed dimensions for the Respawn anchor to be used in
- Added an option if the respawn anchor explodes upon being used in the wrong dimension
Changes
- Removed spreading from Soul Fire
- Rain no longer extinguishes Soul Fire
- Piglins are now scared of Soul Fire blocks with the exception of inside Bastions
- Piglins now target Wither Skeletons
- Weeping vines no longer track top block
- Respawn Anchor messages now use translation keys
- Changed Weeping and Crimson vines to not auto climb when interacting with the hit box.
- Fixed the issue with duplicated portals spawning when a big portal spawns
- Respawn anchors no longer obey the spawnpoint change when a bed is used
- Fixed Soul Lantern lighting level
- Chains have there shape defined
- Lodestone Compass points to the center of the Lodestone
- All Warped and Crimson wood blocks no longer spread fire
- Ancient Debris requires Diamond or higher to mine, Hardness has been lowered, and smelting now only gives 1
- Crying Obsidian can no longer be pushed or pulled by pistons, and require a diamond pickaxe to mine
- Netherite Block requires diamond pickaxe or higher, Hardness has been raised, Blast resistance has been raised, and added an ability to be used by beacons
- Added recipe for uncrafting Netherite blocks
- Nether Sprouts require shears to be obtained
- Warped and Crimson roots can be harvested by hand
- Respawn Anchor requires Diamond pickaxe or higher
- Soul Soil is harvested faster via a shovel
- Nether Gold Ore is now resource pack compatible
- Soul Fire changes - Light level lowered, Block sounds changed to CLOTH, and doesn't ignite for Creative Players
- Respawn Anchors give a comparator output
- Gilded Blackstone chances are affected by Fortune enchantment
- Fixed doors for Warped and Crimson variants

Bug Fixes
- Issue #4 : Piglins targeting dead or non-existent entities, they might do it still but only for a second or two
- Issue #5 : Changed the hitboxes on Twisted and Weeping Vines
- Issue #5 : Soul Lanterns now require supporting blocks to be placed
- Issue #5 : Soul Lanterns have better placement rules
- Issue #5 : Reduced Knockback Resistance on ALL mobs
- Issue #5 : Fungus hitbox change, should now match vanilla
- Issue #5 : Fungus should no longer disappear randomly when being bonemealed
- Issue #5 : Fungus can no longer be bonemealed if not on the corresponding nylium
