What exactly does the mod do?

‎1. It renders all flat loot such as: sticks, books, arrows, etc. in a 2D plane, and also disables the drop rotation around its own axis, always orienting dropped items toward the player’s line of sight, just as it was in the beta versions.

‎2. This mod also changes the rendering of projectiles, such as snowballs, experience bottle, eggs, ender pearls, ender eyes, and splash potions, rendering them in 2D as well (this often goes unnoticed in game, but we decided to tweak this as well).

Why did we add this? We wanted to bring back the vibe of the old drop rendering that was in the beta versions. However, we based our implementation strictly on the beta versions of the game, where the visual appearance of 2D drops differed from that in 1.8.9, so we implemented it based on the beta versions.

I order this mod from - ddanatellik. We thoroughly checked it for any bugs and fixed them, but if you find a bug or an incompatibility with any other mod, please let us know in the comments - we’ll try to fix it in future versions!

You are free to use this and our other mods anywhere you like, customize them to your liking, include them in your mod packs, port them to other versions, and so on. Just be sure to credit the mod’s author.

Что конкретно делает этот мод?

‎1. Он рендерит весь плоский дроп вроде: палок, книг, стрел и.т.д. в 2D плоскости, а также отключает вращение дропа вокруг своей оси, поворачивая брошенные предметы всегда в сторону взгляда игрока, как это было в версиях beta.

‎2. Еще этот мод изменяет рендер выпущенных предметов и снарядов, вроде: снежка, пузырька опыта, яйца, жемчуга эндера, ока эндера и взрывных зелий, делая их также в 2D плоскости (в игре это часто не заметно, но мы решили и это подправить).

‎Почему мы это добавили? Мы хотели вернуть вайб старой отрисовки дропа, который был в версиях beta. Но, мы ориентировались на beta версии игры в точности, там визуально отличалось то как 2D дроп выглядит в сравнении с 1.8.9, поэтому реализовали это уже на основе версий beta.
