Two Heavens 0.5.3+26.1.2.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
New
- The mod teaches the whole chain now. Guidance used to stop the moment the kera formed — exactly where things get least guessable. Look at a finished furnace and it shows the four hammer strikes; look at an anvil mid-forge and it shows the next step, including the choice between taking the wakizashi or hammering on for the katana; carry a hot blade with tongs and it shows the water you need.
- Tools explain themselves. Hammer, Bellows, Tongs and the hot kera had no tooltip at all. They now say what they're for — including the one rule the mod had never stated anywhere: a hot blade burns you unless tongs are in your off hand.
- Recipes work both ways. Hold Shift on an item to see how it's made, not just what it makes.
- The prompts show recipes for tools you don't have. If the furnace asks for a bellows and you haven't got one, hold Shift and it shows what a bellows is made of — no need to own the item to look it up.
- Waiting tells you what's coming. While a furnace works, the prompt names what the next stage will want, so you can go and make it instead of finding out afterwards.
- Furnaces keep what's inside them. Break one and put it back and it resumes with its contents and its progress intact, instead of starting over.
Changes
- The bellows no longer punishes a small mistake. It used to need a pump within a few seconds of an invisible beat, and fall backwards if you were late — so one miss cost double and there was no way to see why. It's now simply four pumps, at any point in the phase, and heat never falls. The prompt counts them down.
- Everything is much quicker. The full chain went from about two and a half minutes of waiting to about seventy-five seconds, with the same steps in it. All of the cuts came out of time where there was nothing to do.
- The kera says why you can't break it. It cools for ten seconds, down from twenty-four, with a bar showing how long is left.
- Forging needs a Smithing Anvil. Vanilla anvils no longer work.
- The Obi is crafted from white wool. Any colour used to work.
- The tongs have been redrawn to actually read as tongs in a slot.
- The furnace recipe tooltip cycles through every fuel, rather than showing an empty slot.
- Two Heavens tooltips are white, and come from the items themselves so nothing shows the Shift prompt twice.
Fixes
- Fixed the flame in furnace recipe tooltips overlapping the slots above and below it.
Note
Anyone mid-forge on a vanilla anvil when they update will find it inert — the item on it drops rather than vanishing, so nothing is lost, but the work moves to a Smithing Anvil.
