Two Heavens 0.3.1-26.1.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
New
- The katana's slice works without the obi. The solo slice used to fire its damage with no animation unless you had the swords drawn — a fresh katana felt like a retextured sword. It now plays a proper one-handed slice from the moment you craft it. The two-sword combo is still the obi's reward.
- Tooltips tell you where the obi goes and what each sword does. The Daisho Obi says "Hover over the leggings slot to reveal the belt slot" and "Press R to draw and sheathe your swords". The Wakizashi stabs and stuns; the Katana slices, or finishes a stunned target.
Changes
- The katana is right-click only. Without the swords drawn, left-clicking with a katana does nothing at all — your arm doesn't even swing. The solo slice is on right-click, and that's the only way to use an undrawn katana.
- Stun is no longer a potion effect. Slowness and Weakness were replaced with a real stun: no swirl particles, no HUD icon, and milk won't clear it. A stunned mob is held in place and cannot attack at all, instead of swinging for zero damage. Duration is unchanged.
- The paired stab now genuinely requires the swords drawn. It used to check only what was in your hands, so a hand-assembled loadout could use the combo without ever equipping an obi.
- Recipe tooltips now come from the items themselves, so a mod item can't show the Shift prompt twice.
Fixes
- The katana no longer takes two hits to kill a cow. Slice damage scaled with the target's max health, so weak animals took two hits just like a creeper did — a chicken was as much work as a zombie. A slice now does at least 12, killing anything with 12 health or less outright. Tougher targets are unchanged.
