About:

Resonance is a vaporwave/twilight music mod created in collaboration with composer Windows96 and other artists such as Alt, Komit, Pyxisynth, Sonavision, Nanonovo, Pastel Beach, Lost Odysseas, 5-D and Moondrive to expand the music genre in Minecraft.

Each album will showcase various styles, offering a diverse selection of music with themes and meanings.

Features:

The mod introduces new music from albums released by Windows96 with distinct visual elements. Additionally, it includes new paintings with related themes.

Version 1.0.0:
- 22 new music discs included one special disc.
- 10 new paintings.

Version 1.1.0:

- 23 new songs included one special disc and a new album disc
- 3 new paintings

Version 1.3.0:

- 31 new songs included one special disc and collaboration songs with 5-D and MoonDrive 

- 1 new painting

Obtain:

With version 1.0.0, new music discs can only be obtained through creepers when shot by skeletons.

Compatible available:

- Jukebox from Admenments and Better Jukeboxes: Music Discs being displayed well (Recommend using with)

QnA:

"Is Fabric supported?"
Answer: I'm not sure I have enough time to do but I will consider it in the future

"Can I use it in my Modpack or use it in my videos?"
Answer: Feel free to, but please credit or add a Mod link leading to this page and don't claim at your own creation

"Why are discs all obtained through Creeper and not some other way?"
Answer: We originally planned for discs to be earned in different ways, but with each update, a lot of songs would be added, making it hard to distribute them. Also, some players felt that the non-Minecraft style of the discs didn't fit well with the game. We suggest that you personalize your experience by creating and distributing the discs using datapacks or other methods.

"The music and paintings do not match the style of Minecraft. Music for Minecraft should not have lyrics."
This is something I came up with, but in case someone asks, here's the answer: Minecraft music is not considered Vaporwave or Twilight. The mod aims to introduce a new genre of music to Minecraft, not sticking to the game's usual quiet style. The music in the mod is not specifically composed for Minecraft, so having lyrics is acceptable. The paintings have also been adjusted to match Minecraft's art style as closely as possible, so think of them as an extension of the new art and music. Enjoy!
