Tour Guide

Tour Guide is an interactive in-game guidance mod for Minecraft.

Introduction

Tour Guide provides a simple in-game tutorial framework. Developers can use this mod to easily create in-game guidance processes, allowing players to learn mod gameplay through hands-on practice.

The basic unit of Tour Guide is a Tour, which consists of Stops. Each stop is equipped with several Marks (which can be in the world or on a GUI), along with corresponding Triggers and related events.

Typically, when a player completes a step, they can press a key to let the Tour Guide system check whether the task is finished. If completed, they proceed to the next step; otherwise, they are prompted to continue.

Triggers are events that can be activated during gameplay. If the trigger specified for the current stop is activated, an immediate completion check is performed.
