Description
Tough As Nails: Legacy is a backport of the original Tough As Nails mod to Minecraft 1.7.10.
Tough As Nails is a survival mod that adds various features to increase the game's difficulty, including body temperature and thirst. Players must manage both systems alongside hunger, making survival more demanding and dependent on the environment.
Temperature varies based on biome and conditions, meaning players must adapt to heat and cold to stay alive. Thirst introduces an additional resource that must be maintained, requiring access to clean water and proper preparation while exploring.
This backport aims to preserve the original gameplay and design as closely as possible while making it fully functional in 1.7.10 modpacks. The mechanics, balance, and overall feel are intended to match the original mod rather than reinterpret it.
This project was built from the ground up for 1.7.10 and does not include any original source code or assets from newer versions. It is an independent recreation intended for compatibility and preservation purposes.
