This vanilla+ mod aims to rework the vanilla death system and to be used in hardcore mode.
Instead of being locked out for good, it adds pressure and pushes players to actually rely on each other. As when someone dies, they will be put into spectator mode and drop an indestructible player head where they died. From there, the other players will need to get the head to revive them with the modded items.
Features:
Soul Compass:
No idea where your teammate fell? Open the compass GUI, select their name, and a particle trail will guide you straight to their death site. No more wandering blind.
Imperfect Totem (Early Game):
Cheap to craft and quick to use. Ensures that the early game goes smoothly.
Resurrection Totem (Late Game)
Requires rare materials and a Resurrection Core, and is only unlocked after the End Dragon is slain.
Config Options:
Tweak revival sickness, cooldowns, and compass particle range to match your server's playstyle.
