Totem of Shadows
A Shadow Jutsu combat utility mod.
To get your totem of shadow, you must first gather the ingredients to craft one. You would need a spirit essence, which Spirit drop very rarely in the Small End Island.
Hold on.. A new mob?
Yes! Spirit is a new mob native to the Small End Island biomes. Spirit tries to be the human form that it sees, but it does not have
enough essence to shape shift itself into a human form. If you flash a lantern onto Spirits, they will show a human head that
they try to immitate!
Alright, enough of Spirits, now I have spirit essences and some wools to craft a Totem of Shadow, what do?
Totem of Shadow when used raw can spawn a 'shadow' mob that have the same skin of you. Your shadow doesn't really know
how to use its body, so it just run around randomly, but this should be enough to distract your enemy from thinking the shadow
entity is actually you!
Totem of Shadow can also be enchanted in the Enchantment Table. These enchantments are called Totem Curse.
There are 5 flavours:
- 1. Totem Curse of Fire - burns the attacker. The higher the level, the longer the burn duration.
- 2. Totem Curse of Explosion - casts an explosion on damage. At each explosion, the shadow will have a higher chance of destroying itself. Although, the shadow can only make three explosions.
- 3. Totem Curse of Thorns - reflects damage on attacker. The higher the level, the more the damage is multiplied.
- 4. Totem Curse of Resistance - builds a resistance towards damage. The higher the level, the higher the resistance.
- 5. Totem Curse of Speed - adds speed to the shadow. The higher the level, the faster the shadow entity runs.
You can also brew a new potion recipe from spirit essences! It only requires one spirit essence to turn a Mundane Potion into Potion of Life.
This potion gives the Health Boost II status effect for 3 minutes. If you craft three spirit essences into a Spirit Essence Trio, you can use it
to turn a Mundane Potion into Potion of Life II instead! This will give the effect of Health Boost IV for 4 minutes.
