Nightwarden Animations:
- Refreshed attack animations with enhanced bone movement
- Activated head bone during attack animations for increased liveliness
- Fixed head rotation lock during certain attacks, allowing natural head movement which helps Nightwarden to farm more AURA!
- Improved clone fade animations - slashing and slamming clones now fade smoothly instead of sudden poof
- Enhanced slam clone intro animation when summoned
Nightwarden Boss Improvements:
- Enhanced Targeting: Clone slash attacks now dynamically adapt to target movement, aiming slashes directly at players who move too far out of reach (previously used fixed ±30° angles)
- Phase 3 drop clones now predict player movement using velocity calculations (ofcourse still dodgeable, but no longer allows brainlessly run for easy dodges)
- Large scythe slam cooldown increased from 300 to 500 ticks to improve combat pacing
General:
- Updated Echo Winglet and Cradle of Will textures
- Increased damage interval ticks for Shear of the Stars (both boss and player versions)
- Nightwarden Drop Clones attack balance:
- Slam damage multiplier: 1.65 → 1.4
- Impact radius: 2 → 1.8
- Magic damage multiplier: 0.5556 → 0.4444
- Added short ICD to prevent spam
- Added Nightwarden Velocity Mapper system for improved target tracking (mainly helps with predicting movement)
- Potentially fixed rendering issue with slam clone scythes
- Updated Japanese and Chinese translations
Note: The improved clone slash targeting maintains the original dodging mechanics - circling around the boss remains a viable option, but standing still at distance is no longer as effective.
