Tincraft 2 is a developing technology-focused mod that introduces tin as a core resource for future machinery, automation, and crafting systems, while staying close to vanilla progression.
The mod is designed as a foundation for a larger tech ecosystem, starting simple and expanding over time.
Features
New Resource: Tin
- Tin Ore generates naturally in the world (rare), making it a valuable find during mining trips.
- Tin Ingots can be crafted from smelted ore and used as a base material for future content.
- Tin Blocks allow compact storage and can be used for building or decoration.
World Generation
- Tin ore spawns underground in limited quantities, encouraging players to explore caves and mine strategically rather than finding it everywhere.
Gameplay Impact
Tincraft 2 enhances gameplay by:
- Adding a new early-game resource that will become essential for technology progression
- Encouraging exploration and strategic mining due to tin’s rarity
